Broadcasts involve the coating of a concrete surface and the broadcasting of an additional material into the floor while the base coat is wet. The additional material can contain crushed quartz aggregate, silica sand, vinyl color chips or a number of other decorative materials.

The process of broadcast and rejection adds a decorative element to any standard coating. The broadcast system can be used with a variety of coating materials including epoxy, polyurethane and polyaspartic. The type of coating and broadcast material is chosen considering the environment, desired finished look and the suitability for a specific application.
