Types of polished concrete

The condition of the concrete floor may limit the type of polish that can be used, dependent on the condition. For example in most cases the radiant look of cream polish cannot be achieved because of the amount of glue or coatings that need to be removed. This happens because when grinding the coating or glue off it the cream from the floor is also removed. If this look isn’t achievable for our client they will be informed upon consultation.
Polished concrete flooring comes in a wide range of sheen gradients, from matte to a glossy mirror-like finish. These gradients are achieved dependent on the diamond grit used to polish the floor. The diamond grit also allows for different amounts of aggregate exposure, ranging from cream finish with no exposure to a full aggregate look.
