Shot Blasting

Ottawa Concrete Floor’s go-to method for preparing surfaces is shot blasting. Ottawa Concrete Floors uses an environmentally safe blastrac concrete shot blast machine. This machine strips off a thin layer of coating leaving the pores beneath the coating exposed for polish preparation. After this process the new coatings can now work themselves into the pores of the concrete and bond with the concrete through chemical reactions. This complete shot blasting process is pertinent for creating a strong bond for the new surface coating provided by the Ottawa Concrete Floors’ floor system. This process is clean, dust free, and environmentally friendly.
